Capturing Signals - Chwilczynski at Porto.art

On View Until March 31,2026

The exhibition "Capturing Signals" by Bartłomiej Chwilczyński, held at Porto.art from October 22–24, 2025, attracted nearly 100 visitors.

The opening featured intimate one-on-one meetings with the artist, emphasizing personal conversations and engagement.

Attendees included a diverse mix of artists, curators, gallerists, architects, designers, collectors, and many first-time visitors to the venue.

At the heart of the exhibition are Chwilczyński’s precise, elegant works—pieces framed in beech wood, presented alongside raw material elements such as stone, creating a strong, minimalist atmosphere. The show brings together threads the artist has developed over the years, moving between lithography, drawing, painting, and collage. Some works were created while traveling and read like a record of observation and memory—capturing what happens between seeing and remembering.

This is only our second exhibition, and we can already feel that Porto.art has its audience. Events like this show that it’s worth building this place further,” said Maja Młodzińska, Co-owner of Porto.art.

The exhibition is on view until March 31, 2026, at Porto.art, by appointment. Book a visit here.

Porto.art has an incredible atmosphere—calm, yet intense in conversation. I met a completely new audience for my work. The one-to-one format is wonderful because it builds relationships. I feel like I’m showing not only my art here, but also myself,” remarked Bartłomiej Chwilczyński.
